Examples of research undertaken
- Much Online research and Internet research is being carried out, for example, on places to visit in Jamaica, whale watching and houses for sale in particular areas of France.
- Fundraising sources for St Richard's Hospice, Worcester were given to the Louise Hewett Recruitment Agency.
- Numeracy and literacy statistics in England and Wales were sought and given to The Ethical Training Company.
- A computer modem initiation string was sought for Worcestershire County Council to use the Monitron remote monitoring system of traffic signals which reports faults on a laptop.
- Flowering garden plants were identified for clients.
- Activity holidays for a person with disabilities were researched and brochures sent for. The client thoroughly enjoyed a recorder course at Pendrall Hall, Staffordshire and is planning to go away again.
- The voluntary organisation, Community Meeting Point, in Hertfordshire is short of funds. Research was undertaken to produce a detailed list of potential funders from Trusts and companies.
- The central heating boiler of St James Church, Hartlebury, malfunctioned and funds are necessary to replace it. A detailed list of potential funders from Trusts was produced. Now with fundraising and a loan from a Trust the heating is back on.
